Schneider Electric and Simplified start a talent program aimed at technology enthusiasts who want to be involved and contribute to a sustainable future by using energy in a smart and sustainable way. The talents in the program have the opportunity to create a broad network, be challenged in various areas and drive digitalisation forward together with inspiring colleagues.
Schneider Electric is a world-leading group in digitization, automation and energy optimization and has been named the world's most sustainable company in 2021. Now Schneider Electric continues to drive its competence supply forward together with the recruitment and competence partner Simplified. In June, the talent program Future Innovators opens, where young people interested in technology can take their first step towards a dedicated engineering role.

In the Digital Energy business area, we work with control systems and AI technology, where we together develop the leading solutions for energy optimization of buildings and are a partner for sustainability and efficiency. We have great conditions for people who want to be involved and influence their careers and development. We are looking for people with different backgrounds, experience and perspectives so that we can learn more as a company, says Jonas Brunnström, regional manager within the Digital Energy Sweden business area.
Future Innovators will annually receive 15-30 people who are part of the talent program over a twelve-month period. The program includes, among other things, internal and external training that alternates with work at the customer. Each person in the program gets the role of junior service engineer, a tailored training plan and a mentor who supports in the daily work.
- This is one of the largest investments in skills development ever made in Sweden by an individual company. Simplified and Schneider Electric share the belief that freedom creates innovation, and with the talent program we create a meeting place for it. Now we want to meet the country's most driven individuals, preferably those who have just graduated from high school and see a future in programming or engineering, says Alexander Lundgren, sales manager and co-owner of Simplified.
The talent program is an extension of the partnership between Schneider Electric and Simplified that began in early 2021. In addition to their own skills supply, the duo also wants to inspire others to similar initiatives as this creates job opportunities for young people to enter working life.
- There is no upper limit for how far you can go, as the knowledge and experience you acquire in the talent program corresponds to what is required for a future engineering role. We are convinced that this is where tomorrow's experts, innovators and business leaders will emerge, says Alexander Lundgren.
